Kosmopolitan (Kosmos) singles is an independent social group formed in 1990 to provide social activites, fellowship, and support to singles north of the river. While we are primarily a Northland group, our membership is open to all singles, age 40+, throughout the greater Kansas City area.

We have weekly mixers every Thursday evening at various restaurants throughout the Northland. We gather around 5:00 pm for a social hour(s), and many of us stay for dinner. On weekends, we have at least one organized activity which can include dances, movies, sports events, game nights, local events, biking trips, etc.

Our belief is that single people should have a place to go and be with other singles for fun and fellowship rather than sitting at home evenings and weekends. While some of us have the goal of meeting someone special (and we have had many Kosmos' marriages!), others are there just for the fun and fellowship. We welcome all singles to our group.
